  • A Pentium PC or MAC equivalent
  • A sound card with speakers or headphones
  • A 28.8 Kbps Internet connection

Step 2. Install the Player
Once you have downloaded the file to your local hard drive, double-click the file to begin the installation.

If after installing the software you are still unable to hear the test file please check the following.
  1. Check the speaker volume on your headset/speakers.
  2. If you are behind a firewall/proxy be sure that port 1755 is open. Windows Media Player requires UDP 1755 for the media stream. For more information about firewalls and Windows Media Player click here.
  3. Do you have enough bandwidth? While generally not a concern with audio streams slow dialup connections may experience problems if there are other browser windows open and/or a file download is in progress.
